The installation highlights the transformative potential of natural substances. These visible and invisible processes encourage deep reflection on the essence of life—whether it remains constant as states effortlessly transition from one phase to the next. The installation is inspired by the salt lakes of Cyprus. Here, the processes of dissolution and renewal in nature can be observed. Separated from the sea by sedimentation, the water in the salt lakes evaporates, leaving crystalline residues behind. The lake refills with rainwater. These alternating phases follow a cyclical, recurring rhythm.

Sie wirft Fragen über die Natur der Kontinuität auf: Ist das Salz, das am Ende auf dem Stoff kristallisiert, dasselbe wie das Salz, das ursprünglich geerntet wurde? Die Installation rückt das Transformations-Potential von natürlichen Substanzen in den Vordergrund. Diese sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Prozesse regen zu einem tiefen Nachdenken über die Essenz von Lebens an – darüber, ob sie konstant bleibt, wenn Zustände mühelos von einer Phase zur nächsten übergehen. Die Installation ist inspiriert von den Salzseen Zyperns. Hier lassen sich die Prozesse von Auflösung und Erneuerung in der Natur erleben. Durch Sedimentation vom Meer getrennt verdunstet in den Salzseen das Wasser und hinterlässt kristalline Rückstände. Durch Regenfälle füllt sich der See wieder auf. Diese wechselnden Phasen folgen zyklisch einem wiederkehrenden Rhythmus.
